This picture seems to resinate hopelessness.

The implication of an ineffective desire sterility (attractive but white clothing that offers no protection, the face mask) combined her dirtiness seem to say that the world will soil you and the precautions you take will be pointless.

Her eyes, however, seem blase, but bordering on despair.
